Sviluppandosi su un livello ipogeo ed uno superiore adiacente alle preesistenze, sviluppato in altezza. La flessibilità degli assetti spaziali, il reimpiego di elementi prefabbricati derivati dalle pompe di benzina (lamiere, infissi etc…) e l’importanza attribuita al percorso-playground connettivo è il punto chiave del progetto.Rivalorizzando l’area dismessa di un benzinaio il progetto di Marta Moccia intende sviluppare un mix funzionale in continuo dialogo con la città dotato di un ostello della gioventù, aree camping, superfici per tempo libero, strutture per associazioni e reintegrazione del verde
UrbanCell
With the planning of the project by Valentina Pennacchi you want to create a low-density settlement with houses partially semicostruite and sides planted with orchards where there is now only green interstitial, thereby decreasing the environmental impact urbanization and the use of polluting transport. The system is very flexible and integrated in different existing urban structures, creating a mesh connecting all levels: social planning of the settlement, to the residential architecture, with ecological and environmental green connective paths with urban gardens. We intend to intervene in areas illegally occupied by temporary settlements or landfill, as the self-construction of a core of basic (entry level, kitchen, toilet), steel-framed, it will increase the need of the client system according to a maximum of 3 floors.
UrbanFields
The current pro problem of dialogue between the urban and nomadic society has different facets, not least the lack of stable architectural identity that will create a real dialogue and therefore, a true integration. Existing camps are located on the edge of the city, fenced and over controlled, but at the same time not able to empower the recipients nor able to detect the presence of common rules at all because they themselves are cut off from reality. The project hypothesis proposed by Maria Pia Cosentino wants to transform the nomadic settlement provisionally stable and, in doing so, create a real connection with social partners to combat the isolation. By connecting the settlement with the University Campus of the Department of Cultural Anthropology, research using the technique of participant observation, anthropology and architecture combine to create a good alternative to habitat and working. The proposal aims to create a stable identity through the creation of a residential type with a core base of 35 square meters (toilet, kitchen, sleeping area) increased over time up to 100 square meters including parking for caravan or camper typical of Roma culture , workspaces and craft shop. Eco-sustainability of the complex is guaranteed by the use of solar thermal and photovoltaic designed to meet environmental requirements, the recovery of rainwater and ventilation towers against overheating and a general use of wood technology ideal for self-building multi-staged.
Save Street Children
Li via Manili addressed the issue of low population density within the consolidated city and construction of spaces with their own identity to nomadic bands. The proposal provides for settlement on the basis of rectangular modules assembled in jagged profiles, the symbol of the dynamism of the nomadic life, creating spa zi for homes, for jobs, for sale and for holiday gatherings or municipalities. Giving an identity to the community, reflected in the identity multifunctional architecture, you want to create a social connection with the existing urban area that surrounds the community and ensures through the increase with affixing the basic modules for future expansion planned.
My remarks
The success and importance of the initiative are related to the themes of dialogue with young people, openness to new design methods that start from the bottom up, the enthusiasm turned to imaginations of young architects today (although sometimes too ideal, because the university design modules are always linked to a dimension of training) and opportunities to link universities and business securely. The title given all’iniziativa di “proposte di strategia per progetti sostenibili nella città di Roma” spiega i contenuti trattati, anche se dalla presentazione dei vari interventi compare una generale attitudine a rimanere nell’ambito dell’astratto, non tanto nella progettazione materica di per sé quanto nel reale conseguimento degli scopi prefissi.
La definizione di “strategia” attribuita ai lavori li preserva da osservazioni di carattere statico-attuativo delle singole opere poiché compaiono molte ingenuità pur essendo progetti di massima, come infossare una linea metropolitana tra semplici solai (progetto underg round The Of Time Machine by David Motta) or even break the bank for 6 meters
